89 S10 4.3 220k. My truck ran fine before I decided to powerwash the engine. After I washed it It wouldn’t start. When I did get it started, it was misfiring badly and would backfire out of the intake. The plugs and wires I changed at the last oil change. I tried replacing the distributor cap, rotor and the pickup coil. I also had the Ignition module tested and it tested good. I tested the coil with an ohmmeter and it was good as well. Could a spark have jumped into the wiring harness and zapped my computer?
I dont know where to start, I have a pressure washer hooked up to a 350 gallon tank full of water.
I’m guessing these are areas of excess sealer. I tried to powerwash the spots, but not much luck. Does anyone know if I put another coat of sealer on if it will help or hurt the problem. I’m guessing that it will probably make the situation worse.
One of my neighbors has a poor out of work father. He takes care of my yard and I think a few other yards on the street-and that’s his only income.
He recently knocked on my door and asked if I wanted him to pressure wash my house.
I don’t know anything about pressurewashing. I am sure my house could use a clean up.
The house is one story, fairly small.
I am curious to know everything that goes with pressure washing because I want to pressure wash some driveways and decks to make some cash to buy a car when i turn 16. Do I only need to buy a pressure washer with the correct nozzles? Or do I need to get sealing and coating stuff also? Does the driveway/deck have to be repainted after being pressure washed?
Using no chemicals – could he still be fined? We are in the Rancho Bernardo fire zone and we need to do it. Should he buy a permit or what? People who wash there cars and driveways with chemicals get no fines but I have heard we can get fined for powerwashing.

Is it legal to place signs out for pressure washing, in places like intersections, along side of road? Not on persons property.
Our former landlord is charging us ridicoulsy high rates to reclean everything that i cleaned! 100 to clean the fridge which i cleaned out well..it took me almost 2 hours. 100 to sanitize the tub, sink, and toliet. which was also done, 75 to powerwash the deck due to a small stain. the charges just seem unjustifiable. they are saying we owe 3 times what our security deposit was in just cleaning prices! there was no actual damage. My mother and mother-in-law helped with the cleaning and were witnesses that it was done. I also need to know what all i need to take to court to prove that these prices are ridiculous! Are they allowed to charge such high prices? oh yah i left one light bulb burnt out on accident and it was ! they are just the cheap light bulbs also. needing some advice!
I have a Mazda 6 04′. I would like to open the hood up and pressure was the engine area to get everything cleaned up. But can I say, go to the quarter car wash and just spary the inside of the hood? Or will the damage something?
I’ve volunteered to pressure wash a friend’s deck that is approximately 20′ L X 8′ W. I want to complete the job in one day since the house is 100 miles from my home and I’m only going to stay over one night. I know that pressure washers are rated by the number of PSI (pounds per square inch). Can anyone tell me how many PSI I should get in a rental? Is my hope to finish the job in one day realistic? The deck boards are pretty dirty due to lots of trees all around. Any other advice would be welcome.
I looked underneath the hood of my car, and wondered if I could go to the car wash, and wash underneath the hood with a pressure washer? I’ve seen this done before, but I think there are certain area’s you’re supposed to watch out for such as the engine or something like that. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have never pressure washed my house. But is it necessary before I paint it?
I moved into a newer house (6 years old) recently and the basement has dirt all over the walls and floor. I can judge just by looking at it (and confirmed with previous owner) that whenever they originally poured the concrete, they just got it muddy and never cleaned it. My question is, what is the best way to clean it? My basement is pretty empty, just a new washer and dryer, the furnace and water heater, and some wood stairs. I was thinking that I could powerwash the floors and walls and just funnel the water using towels or whatever into the furnace drain. What do people think, should I powerwash or try to scrub it clean? Has anybody powerwashed their basement? Will I just end up getting everything (ceiling, furnace, washer, etc) wet? Thanks for the help!
I just sanded down the wood (pine) floors on the second floor of my house. It came out nice with the exception of the section in front of the bathroom. Apparently the previous owner must have flooded the bathroom quite a few times. Theres a big black stain in the wood in front of the door. I’ve used clorox to bleach/powerwash wood decks and fences and I’m wondering if I can bleach the stain on the floor. Problem is I can’t powerwash the bleach out of course. I’m using a dark stain so I’m hoping it will cover but I’d like to minimize the stain first. Any ideas? Will clorox work?
Thanks!
